BroadBit is contributing to the GeoNet project, which is developing vehicle-to-vehicle communications capability. A major reduction in vehicle accident rates shall become possible when inter-vehicle communications capabilities become available for safety applications.

Mobile device software products for enhancing driver comfort and safety:

  • automated emergency calling
  • automated SMS-to-speech function while the mobile is in the vehicle
  • automated call answer and loudspeaker profile while the mobile is in the vehicle

Safe driving incentivization

BroadBit has implemented a personalized vehicle insurance system. This system financially incentivizes safe driving and makes drivers aware of the risks they incur.
